snapped adrian with my ricoh (i still dun get it, the camera shakes are so bad, even though anti shake is on) as he showed me what i can do with his pentax espio mini. yeah another film camera to add to my camera collection. hehehe.

well after years of not carrying a real digital camera, i succumbed to a new one.

coming from my earlier post about the kindle the only alternative initially was the cybook gen3 by bookean (for its compactness and mobi/prc file support).

however, for USD$299 if i act now, i can get the hanlin v3 by jinke. according to my email exchanges with their marketing/sales the future firmware/software updates for the v3 is set to make the hanlin v3 more attractive, albeit the made in china perception.

one of those video podcasts that has caught my attention, and not to mention filling up my ipod with lots of free english animation, is channel frederator. more with itunes podcasts.

the only game thus far on my ndslite which i am really determined to complete. the clip above is the ending scene from someone's gameplay. also the main character's some grouchy ex-cop gone salesman cum gumshoe type. and cute.

was looking for his album earlier in the day. but instead, brought home these indonesian albums that's been playing on the local malay radio for quite some time.



something about malay songs, jazz, big band, swing, and orchestra, that appeals to me very much.

on the other hand. realized that the 1gb zen stone is not sufficient for my music collection. darn. time to upgrade?

getting up in the morning. sunshine and all.

so i did myself a favour and gotten a black zen stone. as the rubber rings on the over-ear earphones went missing (yeap, those phillips one which i've been using for my running for quite some time), i decided to use the sony's handsfree earplugs. which were amazingly comfortable for running! (because it sits flush in my ears, i do not have to turn up the volume at all and all external sounds are kept out)

sprinting around the neighbourhood with "tony the beat" playing in my head.



one thing nice about the stone is the fact that it is featherlight. i hardly feel it on my collar. its really perfect to keep me company on the cool morning runs.

ah great. the sun's up. ohayo~!

it dawned on us that the voice coming from the macs are the daleks or HAL. but take away the smiles and the laughs from the day, we were reminded more of what's coming up in a few weeks time. for the now, i'll just enjoy the time we spend together.
