driving along east coast at 6am. and catch the sunset at changi beach. not a bad idea no?

let's start with the cats in woodlands. they're mostly very interesting and friendly.



after his coaching lessons, decided to celebrate his birthday a little earlier by treating him to a simple dinner at fish & co. the service we had at the imm branch was great! the server was jovial and candid with us. and she's most probably a teenager still in school!

i'd like to think that we both chat more openly now, than we did when we're together in that seven years. perhaps the benefit of age / maturity and the distance... nonetheless, we didn't want to make his birthday a big deal or anything. i guess we both appreciate the thought and sincerity rather?

( + ) and the real reason why i decided to get myself a psp slim over the weekend, was to be able to play patapon!

on the other hand, now that i'm on 8 days hospitalization leave, i decided to grow a goatee. mmm... not sure if the look suits me... so i've not shaved for the past few days, and that's the outcome on the left.

ended up getting for myself a shure SCL2 in-ear, earphones and a zen stone plus (with speaker, this one's for running). since choon and i braved the traffic to the IT show, even though his 17" macbook pro was out of stock at suntec, i wasn't gonna go empty handed. i have to admit, the SCL2 has redefined how i listen to my ipod. i'm the sort of guy who can't tell the difference when it comes to sound quality, but i can definitely tell that the music coming out from the SCL2 were so much clearer and cleaner. and i don't even have to turn up the volume on my ipod! although i have to get used to how i have to wear the earphones.

rediscovering catatonia.

( + ) and it was raining so heavily yesterday. sent choon off to get his coach at goldenmile. was glad to hear from him when he reached home in kl.



met the boy for dinner at pasir panjang for some seafood after fetching him from work. heh. someone's a team leader now.

as always. only in malaysia can you get chipmunks for lunch. ( + )

danil let us come into his work area. danil and baby seems to get along fine. at least over ben and jerry's a few hours back at vivocity. am glad they hit along on a good note.

on the other hand, after sending baby back to bedok, i decided to fetch danil as well. (turns out to be my first time using those silver arrows taxis)



seems like i'm not the only one facing some difficulties. at least a lot more heartfelt talks with the boy.

just watched top gun for the nth time in my life. it always leaves me with the same emotions as it did when i first seen it years back. i just realized that this movie prolly resulted in my fixation to yukikaze and macross.

aviator ray bans still look classic.

we've been to jb the past few times to catch movies. i think for that price range, i do enjoy the short visits. bought for baby a tshirt that says, a baby stole my dingo. i find dingos to be cute too. so the tagline was rather amusing for me.

caught "Pulau Hantu (ghost island)" an indonesian movie (that's quite corny, but rather entertaining movie) and cloverfield today.

am glad to watch that across the causeway...





the other night i ended up at tabs and disturbed nicekit at his work place, brought the boy to chako for dinner prior. apart from the nice home styled cooking we spent the waiting time chatting about quite a number of things.

the 2 daughters helping her (mdm chako???) out engaged in some conversations with me. and i guess they were amused to hear me respond in the smattering of japanese words from watching anime. i really enjoy the cosy homely feel. overall i do enjoy my dinner. thanks for the intro~!

its been quite a while.

today went jb with the boy. photos for the past months if you visit my flickr. shoe shopping and the likes. caught "i am legend" across the causeway. and got myself some books from city square as well.

geylang with the parents on saturday night. before picking up baby for macs at west coast park. ( + )



and terminal 3 is just way too spacious. on the sunday after hisham's wedding. ( + )



before ending the night with dinner at a turkish restaurant. ( + )

picked up sean ghazi's cd and the photos. wanted to take a nap, but the mind kept trailing off to that day spent at sentosa before seeing him off.

so who has grown tired of whom?

i think i let my feelings get over my own logic. how could i have not trusted my own thoughts? the brain has always been right all along. but the heart has always decided against it.

alfian's happy endings didn't go as well as i wanted to. heck. the whole idea of celebrating his special day turns out to be a disaster. and guess what. i was to blame. just like the previous arguments. just like when we got back from langkawi. somehow, its all my fault. i left in the middle to chase after. only to have it all thrown back.

well i was forewarned.

and so it ended my promise to the self to avoid the clubs.

i'm glad that's over.

i have to thank tony, david, hisham, steven and blumarine (after all these time i still can't get his name right...) oh and norman too. i think i am a wild animal at heart.

i should just listen to them beats.

i kept my eyes closed for a moment, i tried to recall those things that i've seen back then. that we did together, just you and me. its all in bits and pieces now. images that did occur and some made me wonder if it did happen at all. and as the bright light fills my eyes, i was blinded for a moment.

we walked a little and got caught in the rain. but walking in the rain together was somewhat nice. joking and making remarks and retorts at each other. i know something's going on when i look him straight in the eye. and of course if i were to ask, he'd give his typical reply, "don't be idiot can a not. ah... nothing's wrong ok..."

but we both know our expressions and body language tells something else.

that's as much as you learn about someone after spending so much time with them.

dinner was a nice simple seafood spread at holland village, after his hair cut at the barber. from yishun we travelled down to commonwealth. where he had his hair cut by the same barber ever since his primary school days. he commented about the aunt who's been a terror in his life. the one staying at the nearby estate. it was, apt to say, we passed by familiar places.

the question now will be, when?

falling in love again with her voice and music, as i've always had since i've heard her for the first time. its been a while that i've came across this familiar voice. yes i like the album very much.

woke up in the morning, tingkering further with the powerbook. before heading up to yishun to meet choon. totally forgetting what i need to get done at the post office. as we made our way to lavender to get his bus tickets to kl this saturday.

it dawned on me after watching oceans's 13 with him, that this will be the last 6 days he'll be in singapore. probably try and get leave on the 16th or something and see him off.
